  7. (NO extras) for 300 quid !! You can by them new for 280 quid !! Tut..

  14.                "Misty lenses" led to rape error, claim.

  16. A man accused of raping a young woman at a party to celebrate her 19th
  17. birthday told an Old Bailey jury he had been unsure who he was making love
  18. to because his contact lenses had misted over.

  20. But, said Andrew Buchan, he had HOPED it was the hostess's flatmate
  21. (I suppose he had a 50 / 50 chance! - Ed) because he had fancied her
  22. throughout the party.

  24. Buchan, aged 29, from Barnhurst, Bexley, Kent, an assistant manager with
  25. a car firm, denies rape.

  27. There was no dispute that sex took place - the issue was whether it was
  28. with the girl's consent, said Miss Sally O'Neill, prosecuting.

  30. The court heard that Buchan was an invited guest at the party last July.
  31. The hostess went to bed at 4am, unaware that he had fallen into a drunken
  32. sleep on her bedroom floor.

  34. She woke when she felt her duvet being pushed over her head, said Miss
  35. O'Neill. (Is she the sister of Rosie O'Neill ? - Ed)

  37. At first she did not appreciate what was happening - "it didn't seem real,
  38. it was as if she was in a dream".

  40. But when she became fully awake "she realised someone was lying on top of
  41. her, having sexual intercourse with her".

  43. He did not say a word and after finishing he walked out of the room. The
  44. girl said she recognised it was Buchan when he walked back in the room
  45. to phone for a cab.

  47. She told the jury she would never have consented to sex with Buchan
  48. because he was "an ugly wimp".
